M Design & Alan McAnulty
The term “graphic design" was coined in 1922 by one of the first modern designers, William Addison Dwiggins. He described himself as, “[an] individual who brings structural order and visual form to printed communications.”
With 25 years experience in graphic design, web design, fine art, photography and illustration I approach all design projects, whether logo design, photo-illustration, web, print media or advertising with the goal to communicate effectively and esthetically. I'm a visual communicator, adept at refining and clarifying your marketing message. Many of my clients are corporate marketing departments who need me on their team to fill in gaps that occur; whether it's a needed in-house skill set, or their big advertising agency is non-responsive.
I have a wide variety of resources in the business community, with relationships to experts in marketing, advertising, printing, programming and hosting so if I don't know how to do what you need, I probably know someone who does. Please look through my samples, let me know what you think.
I was honored to have a film project shown at the Seattle Art Museum on Sept. 25, 2005. The festival was called StockStock and the piece created by me and Rik Tweed was among the top 25 entries out of a world-wide submission base.
